Topic Pages: The Librarian's answer to Wikipedia!
New!
Credo Reference is pleased to
introduce Topic Pages - a new approach to presenting and organizing
information resources. Credo developed Topic Pages to provide
context and vocabulary around a subject and act as a starting point for
research - all on one page. Every Topic Page assembles topical
material from many resources from within and outside of the library.
You choose which resources will be displayed on your own customized
version of Credo Topic Pages.
A Closer Look at a Credo Topic
Page
-
Credo Resources ... Where do I start? The top section
contains a full-text topic overview from an authoritative
reference work, dictionary definitions, related topics and
additional articles and images available from the Credo Reference
service. It's about providing students with an orientation
and tools for further study.
-
Library Resources ... What else does my library have on
this topic? Configurable by librarians, this section is
designed to bring in search results from additional selected
databases and repositories, as well as results from your catalog
and your e-book collections. Your valuable resources become
more visible and more useful!
-
Free Web Resources ... Thoughtfully selected valuable free web
content on many topics, for additional depth and currency.
